Notes is a 2013 short film from Director/Writer John Mcphail. Starring Tyler Collins and EmmaClaire Brightlyn.
Notes is about two flat mates who have never actually met as they have different shifts so there only means of communication is through notes on the walls. Will they ever meet? Well have a watch of Notes and find out.
“Notes” is a lovely film to watch. Although short it has such a great story which I personally would love to see be made into a feature. This film is a true example of why John Mcphail is where he is now.
With Mcphail’s first feature film “Where Do We Go From Here?” storming up the festival scene through the end of 2015 through 2016, it is no shock that it has done so well.
“Notes” along with his other shorts is just a sample of this mans talents.
Tyler Collins and EmmaClaire Brightlyn do a great job in the film and have so much comedic timing. The acting felt effortless. Both actors have appeared in all of Mcphail’s films so far.
Apart from GO AND WATCH IT there is really not much I can say about this film other than after you do wathc it go and check out some of John’s other shorts on YouTube.
